5000 years ago the saints of Naimisaranya came together to perform a thousand-year yajna for the upliftment of the earth and to counteract the effects of Kali-yuga.

Only 500 years ago Caitanya Mahaprabhu appeared to spread congregational chanting of the Lord’s holy names. He predicted that the time would come when the holy names would be sung in every town and village.

In the late ’60s His Divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada arrived in the West to fulfill this desire in grand style. Thus the kirtan movement was born and the divine vibrations of the holy names now resound arround the world.

Now between August 29th and September 4th, 2011, ISKCON Germany wishes to take the world of kirtan to the first international, 6-day, all-kirtan Mela.

Many expert ISKCON kirtaniyas have been invited. Among many others Sacinandana Swami, Niranjana Swami and Govinda Swami have confirmed their participation.

- 5 Full days of 12-hour kirtans sung with a thousand devotees
- many of ISKCON’s best kirtaniyas
- childcare facilities
- maha-harinam in Leipzig
- invaluable inspirational talks

Organized under the guidance of Sacinandana Swami in cooperation with the GBC of Germany/Austria HG Srimati Dina Sharana Dasi. For more information please visit or
