On the eve of Saturday 2nd July in the outskirts of London, a cast and crew of 65 young people who are part of an upcoming performing arts group known as "Something Spiritual", came together to put on a spectacular production depicting the life and struggles of Srila Prabhupada. It was a night that captured hearts, moved people to tears and transformed the lives of many.

Srila B.V. Puri Maharaja Passes Away at 96
On July 18 Uttama Chaitanya Dasa, the temple president of ISKCON Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, was attending a two-day seminar hosted by ISKCON’s Congregational Development Ministry. He had complained of some heart pain earlier that day but otherwise seemed fine. As devotees playing futsal (indoor soccer) after the seminar to relax, however, he collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital with devotees chanting Hare Krishna in his ear, but passed away at 5pm.
Key Supporter of ISKCON Mumbai Passes Away at 88
At 9pm IST on March 3, 2009, Srila Bhakti Vaibhava Puri Goswami left this world at Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, where he had been brought for medical treatment. He had just reached his 96th year two months before. Known as Puri Maharaja by devotees and followers, B.V. Puri Goswami was one of the most notable Gaudiya Vaishnava teachers of the 20th century.
ISKCON Scientist Sadaputa Dasa Passes Away
P.L. Sethi, a building contractor who assisted Srila Prabhupada in acquiring and building ISKCON’s Juhu temple, passed away on February 16 in Mumbai, India. He was 88. Although he was never officially initiated into ISKCON, Sethi always regarded Prabhupada as his guru. From the moment the two first met in 1971, Sethi became a life member and a staunch, loyal follower of Srila Prabhupada.
