Food for Life London marked a milestone this Christmas by introducing the UK's first fully electric food distribution van to serve Londoners. The van started out its service by bringing treats to Londoners this Christmas.
The intimate 90-minute interview gives us association with a variety of devotees, from Srila Prabhupada disciples, to sannyasis and gurus, to young devotees and gurukulis.
“We see that because of the Coronavirus, more and more people are losing their jobs, and running out of money,” says ISKCON Hungary spokesperson Gandharvika Prema Dasi. “And they have no support. So the number of people in need has been growing.”

During the month of December, ‘Food For Life Hungary’ ISKCON Hungary’s charity program has been distributing 30 tons of dry food (rice, flour, oil, pasta, canned vegetables) as well as 30,000 plates of hot meal to the needy all across the country. The ‘Christmas packages’ that the volunteers have been giving out in 12 locations and cities represent the only source of food for many families during the cold winter and the holiday season.
Devotees in the war-torn Donetsk region have mobilized themselves into a "Food for Life" team which has gained government recognition and very substantial support. They are known by the new government as the "Hare Krishna devotees". Not only have they found a means for themselves to survive, but these devotees have taken the initiative to work cooperatively with the local government, to raise funds from within Russia, and to find the means to get large supplies of produce and grain for distribution. Food for Life Global Inc, the headquarters for the world’s largest food relief is moving its headquarters to Melbourne, Australia. The non-profit will continue as usual but with the functions and services now running from Australia. All international affiliations will continue as before.
Food for Life Global teaches that pure food has the power to create unity and it is my hope that this challenge goes viral and we all start seeing the spiritual equality of all beings.

Patients at Sewree's TB Hospital will soon be fed hygienic, protein-rich food specially prepared by cooks from the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Keeping in mind that patients need wholesome meals to improve their health, BMC has asked ISKCON to set up a kitchen at the 1,000-bed hospital, that has recently come under fire for bad food and poor hygiene.
Krishna Lunch has been served at the University of Florida for 40 years. There is now students graduatinfg from this school who would not have eaten there at least once. ISKCON now partners with the University to upgrade the campus Plaza where the food distribution has been taking place for decades.

ISKCON Food Relief Foundation (IFRF), which has so far served 1.25 billion healthy sanctified vegetarian meals to underprivileged school children across India with its “Annamrita” program, celebrated its tenth anniversary on February 6th. People packed out the 3,500-seat auditorium at the Yogi Sabhagriha of the Swaminarayan Temple in Mumbai for the event, entitled “Abhar: Expressing Our Heartfelt Gratitude.”
Food for life volunteers distribute pure vegan food daily to more than 1,000 victims of typhoon Yolanda-Haiyan in different barangays in Tacloban, Leyte and Samar. A total of 64,210 meals have been served over the last the two months from November 11, 2013 to January 11, 2014.

ISKCON’s Food For Life is one of the many aid organizations doing what it can to help in the wake of the disaster. A a total of 15,130 plates were served over the thirteen days from November 18th to 30th.
President Nelson Mandela gave a memorable speech at a gathering of 50,000 school children on April 23rd 1997 who were invited by Hare Krishna Food for Life to a public picnic in Durban Kings Park Soccer stadium called the “Festival for the Children of the Rainbow Nation”.

On September 11th, a group of 21 individuals from the United Kingdom started to trek Stok Kangri, the highest mountain in the Stok Range of the Himalayas in the Ladakh region of northwest India. Out of the 21 trekkers, 12 made it to base camp at 5,100 meters and 8 made it to the summit on September 17th.
