Several ISKCON devotees contributed to the Parliament of the World’s Religions – the largest interfaith gathering in the world – this year, with kirtan, japa, and an introduction to the Bhakti philosophy. The first Parliament was held in 1893 and is recognized as the birth of formal interreligious dialogue worldwide. It wasn’t held again until one hundred years later in 1993, but has been held every five years since then.
Food booths will offer such south of the border favorites as chili, nachos, emphanadas, braised vegetables with fried curd, bread pudding, spicy wraps, and lemon mango fruit drinks.
On March 29-30th, ISKCON Spanish Fork, Utah, USA, is expecting tens of thousands of visitors for its annual Festival of Colors.
India burst with color as Hindus observed the playful festival of Holi by dashing each other with colored powder. Americans partake of the spring festival, too.

Three thousand people descended on rural Spanish Fork on Saturday afternoon for belly dancing, a vegetarian buffet, bonfire and ritual witch burning capped with a colored powder fight, chanting, singing and moshing.
